British Porridge with Caramelized Apples

1 cup Quick Cooking Oats
1 3/4 cup milk
1/8 tsp salt
honey - to taste
half an apple (or whole as desired) peeled and chopped
Cinnamon - a pinch
walnuts, raisins, blueberries, as desired

Bring milk and salt to a boil
Add oats and cook for a minute or so

Remove from heat and drizzle a little honey into oats.

In a small saucepan, boil a couple tablespoons of honey with the pinch of Cinnamon until bubbly.
Add apples and coat, stirring and heating for a few minutes.

Split oat mixture between two or three bowls as desired, and drizzle apple mixture over top.
Add nuts and other toppings.
