LaRae's Junior Recital

LaRae bought red bow ties for the guys in her recital.
Here she is asking one of them if he will wear one.
They were all good sports. :)

We made a quick trip to Hillsdale Friday evening after Curt got off work. LaRae isn't a music major, but she loves to play violin--especially chamber and orchestral music, and she is deeply grateful for the music scholarships she was given to go to Hillsdale. So, she asked some friends to join her, and they gave a lovely recital Saturday afternoon.

She also sang three songs. We enjoyed  it all and appreciated her busy college friends taking the time and effort to play beautiful music for us.

Thanks, Professor Chesson, Jacob, little sister--Rachelle, :)
Ellen, Lauren, Helen, Taylor, and Victor. You all seemed relaxed and able to enjoy making music together. It was a joy to hear.

It was a little lop-sided, but I'm learnin'. ; )
Thank you, our darling LaRae for your love of music and learning and for all the joyful energy and TLC you bring to life! What a delight you are to your mom and dad.
