Christianity Difficult?

We humans are drawn to the product of a life fully given to following Jesus. We are drawn to the care, the contentment, the joy, the inner strength, and the beautiful relationships true believers share.

But more often than not, when we get close enough to see what following Christ will cost us, we decide the benefits just aren't worth the sacrifice.

May you and I, dear reader, "be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless." (2 Peter 3:14)
"That the trial of our faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ." (1Peter 1:7)

"The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried."
~Gilbert K. Chesterton
